Whiskey Business Update - Royal Oak, MI

We were displaying our glasses at the Whiskey Business tasting event at the Royal Oak Farmers Market on Saturday in Royal Oak, MI.

Taftware Booth

It was a great night, talking with customers non-stop about our tumblers and shot glasses, answering questions and putting glasses in people's hands.  If you made it out for the event, we thank you, it was great to meet everyone!

Taftware Tumbler Product Display

We were proud to show our custom hardwood boxes and array of glasses from brass, copper, stainless steel, and titanium.  Our signature titanium line got plenty of attention.

Custom Taftware Tumbler Boxes

Jon and I crafted each box by hand for our products and were really happy with how they turned out.  Each one has it's own unique character and the double set boxes really stand out.

We offered a raffle for a Taftware Titanium Shot Glass and our winner was selected at random to be: Heidi Fox.  Thanks to everyone who filled out responses, we sincerely appreciate the feedback and hope Heidi enjoys the glass!

Thanks again, we look forward to seeing everyone in the future at another event.

We Are Live

A few months in the making we are proud to announce that we are live and now accepting orders for our first production run of Taftware glasses.

These glasses are one of a kind, custom pieces that are handmade in Michigan. Due to the process involved we craft these glasses in small quantities for each production run.

If you don't have a chance to get the product you have your eye on from our first run, enter your e-mail and we'll keep you updated when it becomes available.

First Production Run

We've ordered the raw material to custom craft our first production run of whiskey and shot glasses.  Each section of raw material is transformed from it's most pure form of bar stock into our finished products through our process.

We are proud to announce that Taftware will have its first products ready to be enjoyed.

Crafted Packaging

Everything we do at Taftware is carefully thought out and tested before a decision is made to ensure every detail of our products represents our commitment to quality, custom products that are hand crafted in Michigan.

Our packaging design and sourcing is no different.

We looked to local suppliers for our packaging materials and have made the decision to hand craft our packaging, providing the perfect compliment to our custom products.

Our hand made hardwood boxes are made of wood grown in the USA and cut at a lumber mill in the Midwest. Our inserts and wraps are from a local shop right in Detroit, MI.

Our shot glass tubes are packaged in tubing made in Missouri with wooden accents from a small lumber mill in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our mailing tubes are made of recycled material from Pennsylvania.

We are proud of our packaging concepts and our responsibility for their construction.

Like anything at Taftware, they are built to last and be enjoyed along with the product inside. Customization of our packaging is also possible. If you have an idea or a special need for a gift, contact us. We'd be happy to brainstorm with you.

Concepts and Displays

We're busy preparing for the "Whiskey Business" event in Royal Oak and designing custom displays to showcase our glasses.

Right now we're building a custom bar height table that we will have at the event and finishing the table top with custom stain and upholstered edges.

Getting excited to bring out our products and gauge reactions.
